Men's Ministry

The Men’s Ministry is focused on getting men of the congregation together to share war stories, spend time in prayer with one another, and encourage each one of us to step forward as leaders at Fairfax.

Men’s Monthly Prayer Breakfast – We hold a Men’s Prayer breakfast on the 1^st Saturday of each month from 8:00 to 9:30 am.  The Prayer Breakfast is flexible—we often move to the 2^nd Saturday of each month to avoid holidays and other church-wide conflicts.  We focus on sharing prayer requests, telling war stories that keep us ‘wild at heart’ and time in prayer with our brothers in Christ.  Young men are encouraged to attend too!

Men’s Prayer Breakfast in the Woods – Our annual prayer breakfast in the woods is planned for Friday, November 12^th through Sunday, November 14th at the Cove Campground to the west of Winchester, VA.  All men of the congregation are welcome to campout with us as well as fathers with their young children. Service Projects – From time to time we will serve Fairfax and our surrounding community as needs are identified—plan on participating!

We encourage all men to get involved in the affairs of this body of Christ.  If you have ideas for activities that can bring us closer together in service to God and help us better engage Him in prayer, please feel free to share them with us—better yet step up to lead them!
